Jerome E. Record Jr.

Jerome E. Record Jr. is currently the Government Affairs Manager for Comcast, where he manages all external and regulatory affairs for Macomb, St. Clair and Wayne counites. A large portion of his job is dedicated to helping impoverished communities gain access to digital components such as the internet and devices. However, Jerome's community roots are much deeper than technology, he has been involved in creating change in the community since 2006 when he first volunteered for the former President Barack Obama’s 2nd presidential campaign. This is where he saw that there was a need for black representation in the community and in politics. He began his journey working from the State’s Capitol as a Community Organizer to working as an At-Large Community Liaison for Detroit City Council, where he has made sure that the voices of the community were always represented in those rooms where urban needs tend to be overshadowed.
